Journal Entry #1
An uolifting experiance I had was when I learned how to swim.When i started off in the pool I almost drown twice.I almost gotten a fear of large amounts of water until I realized that you must relax in the water.If you don't relax, you would sink and I learned that the hard way.When I entered the pool I started off at 5 ft then slowly moved over to six feet where I started sinking and almost drowned twice. Then I decided to go to 10 ft and hold on to the rim and let go and stay above water, when I started sinking at least I could grab hold to the ladder and I wouldn't drown. I practiced swimmingfrom one side to the other while in the 10 ft part of the pool still. I put the thought in my mind that if i didn't relax I would fall straight to the bottom. So after I got the hang of that I decided to Dive. I made my 1st dive and from that point on the swimming came easy to me.
