The Necklace. My ending

“I—I—I have not Mme. Forester’s diamond necklace!”

She looked toward her garment and frantically searching over it,

Loisel –half undressed- “How could you have lost it?”

Mme.Loisel “It did not fall out, we would have heard the noise.”

“You must have been left in the cab.”
Loisel putting his clothing back on,
“you remember the cab number”

“I don’t know, I remember that it was yellow and the driver name was Frank”

“Of course it was yellow, and there could be many “Frank” cab drivers”

“Well that’s all I know Sir!”Mme. Loisel cried out.

“Well I’ll call the sanitary people of the after-ball if I’s not there I’ll try to find this “Frank”

Loisel sat down called the ballroom, unfortunately he got impatient when he was put on hold, and hung up.
“I’ll go trace the steps back to the ball,” You will keep calling them Madam.”

As Loisel leaves, Mme.Forester calls, “Hello, Mme.Loisel, Did you enjoy yourself at the ball?”

Nervously, Mme.Loisel answers,”Ye-yes I had a wonderful time, you should have came the refreshments was lovely also.”

“Oh I wish, however I had too much to do and there’s this beautiful fur-coat that I’ve been trying to get.”

“That’s wonderful, well I’ll call you later I’m about to undress and bathe”

“Alright dear.” Mme.Loisel layed the phone down with a loud click.

Nervously walking around the house she waited for Loisel’s return. Then, as soon as she rested, the door knocks.
It was Mme. Forester. A shock to Mme. Loisel’s spine occurred when she saw Forester standing in the doorway.

“What a pleasant surprise Mme. Forester” Mme. Loisel said timorously. Mme. Forester walked in with a smile, as if she knows something and said, “Oh, am I interrupting you?”

“No not at all,” Mme. Loisel replied.”Because I was just in the area, and decided to stop by, I’m so tired from being out in searching for this coat.”

“Oh, yes searching can be very tiring,” Mme. Loisel says.Mme. Forester walked over to the counter where she spots some wine.”May I?””Why of course,” Mme. Loisel replied. “So how are you going to get home the cabs stop running in like 10 minutes.”

As she said that another knock came across loudly this time. It was Loisel, as he walked in, he furiously said,” When Forester finds out there will be problems. How could you lose something so expensive and precious like its nothing?”

Mme. Loisel sadly hinted that she was in the house, knowing it was too late. Mme. Forester walked into the room with a stunned look.

”Why, you have lost my diamond necklace?” Mme. Loisel replied.”Yes, I have but I
haven’t the slightest how I had it on when I left the ball.””I’ll pay you back for it Forester though I promise."

Forester, still stunned says,” How could you lose it if you had it on and you only went to the cab and here I assume?”

”I don’t know, I may have taken it off when I got in the cab, did you check the cabs and the ball loisel?”

”The ball I did, the cab is out of touch until in the morning.”Loisel says.

“Well, fortunately that necklace was given to me by my last husband that I despise now, so I couldn’t careless that you’ve rid me of it, so you won’t have to repay me dear.” Mme.Forester said with appreciative attitude.

The Loisel’s were relieved to hear this and they all laughed and drank wine till they fell asleep, where another problem occurred over the night.
